Homework Folder Cover
We will be sending home homework folders for students to have math facts and books on their level to read and complete at home. This reading and practicing math at home is essential to their academic growth in both reading and writing skills! The books are simple and we have even included some example questions for families to make it easier on y’all! The picture above is an example of the cover letter for September which includes reminders for important events and school holidays.

We will send home the folders along with needed materials Monday-Thursday afternoons. Students have been instructed on how to take care of, complete, and bring back their SIGNED form the next morning. We make this a HUGE deal to them because their work at home really effects their growth in school! After successful completion of the homework, a parent or guardian will initial the calendar on the folder. At the end of the month, if the student has enough initials for the days, they will get to participate in the monthly reward! Monthly reward will include sweet treats, free time, extra recess, lunch with the teacher, etc.! We love to celebrate our hard workers and they have so much fun building responsibility in this way.

Please let me know if you have any questions about our new folders!
📚 Happy Reading!! Love, Mrs. Bing & Ms. Collins

Arrow Academy LOVES hosting our locals to present their jobs to our students! Ms. Collins and I host visitors every year for the students to learn about and appreciate our community.
Spring time is HERE! Can't wait for precious moments like these to come very soon! #hatchingchicks #4H
First grade finished up their reading unit over the human body! Key takeaways were about taking care of our body and staying healthy. Students got to taste, describe, and categorize healthy snacks with Ms. Collins!
After completing our Ancient Greek Civilizations unit, second grade got to participate in our very own Olympic Games! We got to recreating Greek architecture, running a "marathon", and designing their own Olympic medals all competing for a different ancient Greek city.
Howdy & Welcome!!

I am so excited to have you in my class this 2022-2023 school year!

This will be an AMAZING year full of fun & LOTS of learning!
A few things to note:
1. Free Dress Friday = No uniform required if students bring home the gold ticket!
2. Reading every night will give a HUGE advantage to your student when it comes to their growth in reading & in writing!
